Financial Math

Building Financial Skills for Life

Financial Math is a practical, real-world course designed to help students develop the knowledge and skills needed to make informed financial decisions throughout their lives. Students learn how money works and gain experience managing the financial challenges they will encounter after high school, including budgeting, banking, credit, taxes, insurance, investing, and career planning.

The course uses the nationally recognized Next Gen Personal Finance (NGPF) curriculum, one of the leading personal finance education programs in the United States. Through interactive lessons, simulations, projects, and real-world scenarios, students learn financial concepts they can immediately apply to their own lives.

By utilizing the NGPF curriculum and resources, students receive instruction aligned with national best practices in personal finance education and gain access to engaging, relevant, and up-to-date financial learning experiences.

Why Financial Math?

Financial literacy is one of the most important life skills a student can develop. Whether students plan to attend college, enter the workforce, join the military, start a business, or pursue technical training, understanding how to manage money is critical to long-term success.

Financial Math helps students build the knowledge, confidence, and decision-making skills needed to achieve their financial goals and make informed choices throughout their lives.
