Introduction to Art and Visual Communications is a junior high Career and Technical Education (CTE) course that introduces students to the fundamentals of artistic expression, design, and visual communication.

Students learn how artists, designers, advertisers, and content creators use visual elements to communicate ideas, tell stories, and solve problems. Through hands-on projects and creative exploration, students develop artistic skills while learning the principles of design that influence everything from logos and advertisements to websites, packaging, and digital media.

This course encourages creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression while providing a foundation for future studies in art, design, and visual communications.
