CTE "Get Real" Video Challenge
Got a cell phone? Make a video and your school can win a prize! The Workforce Board's video contest encourages Washington CTE students to shoot their own videos to promote CTE.

Emerging Rural Leaders
The University of Chicago offers two summer programs to top freshmen and juniors from rural and small-town high schools. Selected students will have the opportunity to participate in a summer session course free of charge and will receive a travel stipend. Applications for HS juniors due Feb. 26; for HS freshmen due Mar. 1.
INSPIRE Pre-College Program
Full scholarship for Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian rising HS junior/seniors. Spend 3 weeks on the George Washington University campus to learn about intergovernmental relations between tribal governments and the federal government.
University of Washington Young Executives of Color Program
A nine-month college pipeline program hosted by UW. Students attend sessions on the UW campus one Saturday every month for college preparation, business lectures, professional development, and powerful mentorship. YEOC is a FREE nine-month program. The only cost to students is transportation to UW Seattle.
