National Honor Society

Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character

The National Honor Society (NHS) is one of the nation's most respected student organizations, recognizing high school students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

At North Beach High School, NHS provides students with opportunities to grow as leaders, serve their community, and make a positive impact both inside and outside the classroom. Members are recognized not only for their academic achievement but also for their commitment to helping others and contributing to the success of their school and community.

National Honor Society meets during 4th Period Power Hour and is advised by Mr. Skyler Schmidt.

Service

Character

NHS students demonstrate honesty, integrity, responsibility, respect, and a commitment to ethical behavior in all aspects of life.

Preparing Future Leaders

National Honor Society helps students build the skills and experiences necessary for success after high school. Through academic achievement, leadership, and service, NHS members learn the importance of contributing to something larger than themselves while preparing for college, careers, military service, and community leadership.

A Tradition of Excellence

The National Honor Society recognizes students who strive to make a difference through scholarship, leadership, service, and character. At North Beach High School, NHS members serve as role models who demonstrate what it means to be a leader, a scholar, and a responsible citizen.

Through their commitment to excellence and service, NHS students help strengthen our school and community while preparing themselves for future success.
