Uniting Student Leaders Across North Beach

The North Beach Principal's Student Leadership Council (PLC) serves as a central connection point that brings together student leaders from organizations, activities, athletics, and Career and Technical Education programs across North Beach Jr./Sr. High School.

The council exists to strengthen communication, collaboration, and student voice by creating a structured forum where student leaders can work together to support school improvement, student engagement, and a positive school culture.

PLC members serve as representatives of their organizations, ensuring that the perspectives of students throughout the school are heard and considered in discussions with school administration.

Our Vision

The Principal's Student Leadership Council is dedicated to building a more unified, collaborative, and inclusive school community.

By bringing student leaders together, the council helps:

The council helps ensure that student leadership at North Beach is connected and collaborative rather than isolated within individual programs.

How PSLC is Different from ASB

While ASB serves as the school's student government and focuses on student activities, events, and school spirit, the Principal's Student Leadership Council serves as a coordination and advisory body.

PLC does not replace or duplicate the role of ASB. Instead, it brings together leaders from multiple student organizations to:

• Share information across programs

• Coordinate major initiatives and events

• Identify opportunities for collaboration

• Provide collective student input to the principal

• Support school improvement efforts

This structure allows student leaders from many different programs to contribute to conversations about the future of North Beach Jr./Sr. High School.

Responsibilities of the Council

PLC members work together to:

• Provide student perspectives on school issues

Members are also responsible for sharing information with the student groups they represent, helping improve communication throughout the school community.
