Champions at Work

SkillsUSA is North Beach High School's primary Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO), providing students with opportunities to develop leadership, workplace readiness, technical skills, and career-focused experiences beyond the classroom.

SkillsUSA serves students enrolled in Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and helps bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world career opportunities. Through leadership activities, competitions, service projects, and professional development experiences, students build the skills employers are seeking in today's workforce.

At North Beach, SkillsUSA meets during 4th Period and is open to students enrolled in participating CTE programs.

Student Leadership Development

SkillsUSA members have opportunities to:

  • Serve as chapter officers

  • Work as part of leadership teams

  • Build professional networking skills

Students learn valuable leadership and employability skills that can be applied in school, future careers, and everyday life.

Competitive Events

SkillsUSA offers students the opportunity to compete against students from across Washington State in career and technical skill competitions.
